About Desolate Game
Anyone fond of sci-fi horror survival games should check out Desolate published by HypeTrain Digital. The story arc depicts a restricted-access island called Granichny. Being once a prosperous and promising scientific research center for the Soviets, it turned into a nightmarish ghost town after some experiment went wrong. In an attempt to covert the incident, untrained volunteers had been dispatched there to investigate the circumstances and wipe off any pieces of evidence. And you're one of them. You can play alone if you're a seasoned horror games enthusiast or invite three other players along. What you'll find out upon arriving is a rather devilish den filled with mutants and zombies who are far from the idea of building up communism. You'll have to collect scrap and craft self-defense means and learn a swing or two to protect yourself from paranormal activities. These also cause nervous breakdown to your playable character so you must heal that and keep in mind being hydrated and fed when needed. You must find documents to reveal shady intentions behind the island's purpose. Investigations also help you get new recipes to craft better equipment and weapon. Desolate can be walked through in stealth mode or completely frenzy depending on your play style. The biggest disadvantage is in lack of some kind of transporting system. Everything must be approached on foot and the map is huge. Side quests are rich in content and won't let you down.
