About Fractured Lands Game

In July 2018 Unbroken Studios released their Fractured Lands in Early Access on Steam. The game was positioned as Battle Royale and violent action unfolded in a wasteland scenery. Upon close inspection, it's clear to see similarities with the successful Mad Max Fury Road movie in both aesthetic and presentation. You're offered to take on a role of a cruel road warrior who fights for fuel and dominance across the post-apocalyptic map in classic BR or deathmatch-based Shangri-La modes. You can choose to drive a bike or car presented in their basic but upgradable forms. The score you gained can be traded for cosmetics and advancements. There is an option to equip a vehicle with additional rocket launchers to be able to jump around debris and opponents or mount a deadly machine gun to pierce enemy vehicles until they explode. As an option, you can join in a convoy driven by other players to defend it and attack outsiders all the way through. Your playable character is given the basic handgun, some ammo, and armor by default just like everyone else in the field. That decision was made to provide equal possibilities for all at once. The key factors in the battle are your skills (both driving and firing) and the chance to locate better weapons spread across the map. The situation heats up when a radioactive storm comes in players' way by constantly shrinking and relocating the safe zone. There is no use in hiding as no one survives beyond the storm except for the ones wearing a gas as a short-term solution to be able to find their way back to the safer place inside the zone. At the moment, Fractured Lands is still in its EA stage with no roadmap or bug fixes planned for the near future. The lack of a player base in an online-based PvP with no bots makes this game hard to pick let alone paying money for it in its current state.
