About Eco Game

Eco is an ecosystem simulator game developed by Strange Loop Games to acclaim from National Science Foundation and United Nations. The game plot is quite straightforward. It was reported that meteorite will strike the planet Earth in thirty days. It's expected that collision is imminent and nothing is going to survive the impact. It's up to you to create and develop a whole civilization and try to destroy the meteorite until it hits our planet. But try not to be carried away: it's easy to focus on production and forget about the harm this production causes to the environment. This mistake can eliminate life on Earth before the meteorite arrives. Upon logging in, you find yourself in a standard open-world survival crafting situation where you need to collect resources and use them to provide yourself with food and shelter. Highly-nourishing food and appropriate housing increase score points that are essentials in acquiring new skills for researching and advancing technology. Another force for progress is in cooperation with strangers. You cannot proceed without external assistance since you have a limited set of characters at your disposal. The game allows you to establish your in-game currency and use it for paying other players for their involvement. Apart from that, the game ensures you with legislative powers. You can elect local officials, set taxation rules upon production lines, adopt laws or block them altogether. All these features are given to the player intentionally, as these are essential for survival in a situation created. This highly detailed simulation shows dependencies between species in the ecosystem and what can happen if these dependencies will be neglected.

Reviews Eco Game

Enter the world of Eco, where you must unite to build a civilization and prevent a catastrophe, using the resources of a fully simulated ecosystem, where your every action affects the lives of countless species. Will you and your fellow builders successfully cooperate, creating laws that determine the actions of players, finding a balance that benefits from the ecosystem without harming it? Or will the world be destroyed by a short-sighted choice that pollutes the environment in exchange for immediate benefits from resources? Or are the players acting too slowly, and the world is gripped by a catastrophe that could have been avoided if you had developed the right technology? In Ivf, you have to find a balance as a group if you want the world to survive.
